Head football coach, 1952-62; produced strong teams representing Hartford Public High School, and many outstanding players.

Coached East Team to a 35-13 win over the West in 1959 Nutmeg Bowl Game.

Served as first President of Hartford Coaches Association, Chairperson of CIAC Committee on Football, 1956.

Head coach of University of Hartford’s Club Football team, 1966-72; compiled overall record of 36-7.

Two-time president, Northern Connecticut Chapter, National College Football Foundation.

Received the Contribution to Football Award from the National College Football Foundation and Hall of Fame.
