Sonny Thomas

Star basketball and baseball player at HPHS; basketball All-State, 1954 and 1955; captain of Capital District Conference Championship team, 1954-55.

Played for Harlem Magicians’ Traveling Team, the Scranton Miners in the Eastern League, and with the Milford Chiefs in the at National AAU Tournament Denver in 1957 and 1958.

Associated for 30 years with the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of Hartford.

Inducted into Twilight Baseball League Hall of Fame in 1985.
