Criteria for Induction

We want to insure that everyone that should be recognized has an equal opportunity to have his or her name entered in nomination. Anyone may nominate candidates for consideration for induction into the Hartford Public High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Deadline for nominations is April 15. Selections are made annually. Candidates who, through their involvement in sports while at Hartford Public High School have brought pride and honor to themselves and to their communities are eligible for consideration. Coaches are not eligible until retired. Please use our online Nomination form to send us any persons that you feel are worthy of recognition.

Nomination Form

All applicable information requested of this form must be completed. Evidence of accomplishments/honors must be provided. Whenever possible, sources should be provided. For example: “All-American” should include the source: AP, UPI, etc. and the year the honor was earned. Statistical information, including record-setting performances should be backed by copies of newspaper articles, yearbooks, media guides, certificates, etc.) All documentation received will remain the property of the HPHS Hall of Fame and may not be returned.
