Annual Golf Fundraising Tournament

This year, our 8th Annual Golf Fundraising Tournament is scheduled for an 8:00am Check-in and a 9:00am Tee Off on September 26, 2009, at Tunxis Plantation in Farmington CT. You are invited to bring a foursome or yourself (we can always create a foursome with others who express an interest to play). The Tournament features a Shotgun Scramble, Goody Bags, Prizes, Raffle and Barbecue.

  + a check for $460.00 (for a foursome) or $115 (for a single), payable to "HPHS Athletic Hall of Fame"

Merchandise

As part of the annual Golf Tournament, a raffle will be held to raise funds. Anything that you can donate, such as a TV, CD Player, Golf Balls, Art & Craft Items, Furniture, Lamps, etc will be used to make the tournament a more enjoyable experience as well as benefit the Hall of Fame.

Services

Gift Certificates can also be donated to the Golf Tournament Raffle. Dinner for two at local restaurants is another favorite item. Perhaps you own a business and can donate your particular service as a prize to the Golf Tournament. Call Betty Gunn at 860-646-1504 for further information or to donate your service.

Donations

In 2002, the Class of 1962 lead in donations followed closely by the Class of 1946 and then the Class of 1941. Your donations are vital to the success of the Hall of Fame. Please send donation check payable to HPHS Athletic Hall of Fame and send the check and short note mentioning your affiliation to the Hall of Fame to the attention of:

Committee Membership

With the exception of the Selection committee, all other committees are open to you and the chairpersons would certainly enjoy your participation and willingness to help. If you are willing to serve send us an email. We will certainly put your energies, skills and time to good use.
